La Diva Valencia: top 1 City’s Most Extravagant Restaurant-Club
Dinner, DJs, and unforgettable diva energy on Calle Sorní, here’s everything you need to know
Valencians were use to have good restaurants and good clubs, but not all in once. That’s the reason we were missing places like La Diva Valencia, since few venues combined the concepts of a restaurant and a club in a single space. Right now, as one of the top spots for nightlife in the Cánovas area—with music ranging from R&B to house and an excellent menu—La Diva is one of the best choices for your night out in Valencia.
In our opinion, as locals and nightlife experts, it’s one of the best places to have dinner and party—all in one. And here are a few reasons why: the menu isn’t expensive—we’re talking about €30 per person; the venue has modern sound and visual systems, including a large screen; and the parties and DJs are very well curated.
La Diva, What exactly is this place?
If you think a good night out means picking between dinner and dancing, La Diva is here to prove you wrong. Tucked into Calle Sorní in the heart of Valencia, this spot blends fine dining with full-on nightclub energy, and honestly, it’s become one of the most talked-about names in the city’s nightlife scene.
La Diva calls itself “extravagante, atrayente, misteriosa” (extravagant, attractive, mysterious), and that’s not just marketing talk. The concept is simple but rare: start the night with a proper dinner, then watch the same space transform into a live-DJ club as the hours go on. No need to bar-hop across the city, everything happens under one very stylish roof.
The décor leans into the “diva” branding hard: bold, curated, a little theatrical. It’s built for people who want their night out to feel like an event, not just another Thursday.
The Food Side, International cuisine, but with great Spanish tapas
Before the music takes over, La Diva runs as a full restaurant with a menu built around what they call a “gastronomic journey,” mixing classic dishes with global fusion plates. The whole pitch is right there in their tagline: eat here, and you’re supposed to feel like a diva yourself. It’s a solid move for anyone who wants a proper meal before heading into the night rather than surviving on bar snacks.
We’ve come here with our team to have some of our Christmas dinners, as well as to dine with friends. It’s not a place for tourists; it’s more of a spot for locals, though now it’s a bit of a mix. Which is great news!
Our team and I have tried the croquettes—which are incredible—the potato waffle, the divine poke bowl, and the bluefin tuna. As for the meat main courses, you can’t miss the chicken tikka masala, the Iberian pork “Secreto,” the Peking duck, and the pork crackling.
Their drink menu is very extensive, with over 100 different alcoholic beverages:
- Over 50 types of champagne
- Over 20 types of beer
- Over 6 categories of wine
- Over 200 types of spirits of all kinds

Budget-Friendly Picks to Start the Party
If you’re on a backpacker budget, these are your best friends:
- Shots for €4.50. Jägermeister, Fireball, Baileys, Licor de Hierbas, tequila and more. Perfect for a group “cheers” moment.
- Beers for €5. Heineken, Sol, Desperados, Amstel Radler, Estrella-style local options like Cruzcampo and Alcázar. Want something special? Guinness, Birra Moretti and Paulaner are €7.

- Vermouth from €7.50. A classic Spanish pre-party drink.
Mixed Drinks: The Real Stars of the Night
Spain is famous for its copas (long mixed drinks, usually spirit plus soda in a big glass), and La Diva Valencia takes them seriously. Most mixed drinks cost €10 to €14:
- Gin and tonic from €10. Pick from 40+ gins, from Puerto de Indias Strawberry to Hendrick’s and Monkey 47. Add hibiscus (+€1), orange, lemon or pink pepper for extra style.
- Vodka from €10 with Smirnoff, up to Grey Goose at €13.
- Rum from €10. Try Havana Club, Brugal or Don Papa.
- Whisky from €10. Jameson and Jack Daniel’s are crowd favorites.
- Tequila from €9.50 for premium picks like Casamigos.
Pro tip: adding Red Bull or a premium mixer costs €1 extra.
Feeling Fancy? Go Big with Bottle Service
Celebrating a birthday or your last night in Valencia? Split a bottle with your crew. Bottles of gin, vodka or rum start around €120 to €150. Divide that among 6 friends and it’s cheaper than ordering drinks one by one.
For the full VIP experience, La Diva Valencia has a huge champagne list: Moët & Chandon from €160, Veuve Clicquot from €179, and giant bottles up to 6 liters. A Moët Mathusalem costs €1,805. Maybe not tonight, but it’s fun to dream.
The Club Side of La Diva, best screens you’ve never seen
This is where La Diva really earns its nightlife reputation. From Thursday to Saturday, the restaurant flips into full club mode, with DJ sets running until 3:30 AM. That three-night window is your best bet if you’re going specifically for the party rather than the dinner.
Here’s the full schedule, so you know exactly when to show up:
- Monday to Wednesday: 1:15pm to 5pm, then 8pm to midnight
- Thursday to Saturday: 1:15pm to 5pm, then 7:30pm to 3:30am
- Sunday: 1:15pm to 5pm, then 7:30pm to midnight
If clubbing is the goal, Thursday, Friday or Saturday night is non-negotiable. Those are the only nights the DJ programming and late closing time kick in. Here you can see the events and parties they do: clic to see.
Booking and Entry

La Diva offers a few ways in: restaurant reservations if you want the dinner experience, bottle service for anyone who wants a table set up for the night, and standard ticket sales through their website for club entry. If you’re planning a group night out, booking a table in advance is the smart move, especially on weekends when demand is higher.
One thing worth flagging: the venue lists a minimum age of 16, which is lower than most nightclubs in Valencia. It’s worth checking directly with the venue if you’re planning a night focused purely on the club side, since age policies can shift depending on the specific event or night.
You can also reach them directly by phone at +34 960 99 00 20, available from noon to midnight, if you want to confirm details before heading over.
Why It Stands Out in Valencia’s Nightlife Scene
Valencia has plenty of separate bars and separate clubs, but venues that genuinely nail both dining and clubbing in one space are rarer. That’s La Diva’s whole advantage. You’re not rushing a dinner to make it to a club across town, and you’re not settling for average bar food before a night out. It’s designed for people who want the full experience without the logistics headache.
It also fits neatly into the Calle Sorní area, which has become one of Valencia’s go-to streets for a more upscale night out, sitting close to the city center and easy to combine with other stops if you want to bar-hop afterward.
Who Should Go
La Diva makes the most sense if:
You want a proper sit-down dinner before your night out, instead of grabbing something quick. You’re planning a birthday, celebration, or group night where a reserved table or bottle service adds to the vibe. You’re drawn to a more polished, dressed-up club atmosphere rather than a casual bar crawl. You’re free on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, since that’s when the actual club experience happens.
If you’re after a low-key, cheap night with your friends, this probably isn’t your spot, La Diva is built for those wanting a bit more spectacle.
Quick Tips Before You Go
Go Thursday to Saturday if the club experience is the priority, that’s the only window with DJs and the 3:30am close. Book ahead for weekends, especially if you want bottle service or a guaranteed table. Eat there if you can, the concept is built around the dinner-to-club transition, and skipping it means missing half the experience. Confirm age policy directly if you’re bringing a younger group, since 16+ is unusually low for club entry.
Why La Diva is on our bar route?
La Diva isn’t your average Valencia night out. It’s part restaurant, part nightclub, and fully built around the idea that a great night doesn’t need to be split into separate stops. If you want dinner, drinks, and dancing without the city-hopping, this Calle Sorní spot is worth putting on your list, just make sure you’re going on the right night.
It offers one of the freshest, most elegant, and high-quality concepts in the city. Plus, it is very close to the center—within walking distance of our other bars. We have a lot of fun there! Some people, don’t wanna leave to the next bar because of its a really cool place! hahah
