This is not a touristy food tour — I’ll take you to my favorite small local bars where Valencians actually eat, drink, and spend time with friends and family. These are places full of personality, tradition, and flavor, where menus change with the seasons and the owners know their guests by name.
We’ll explore some of the most charming streets of El Carmen and the historic center, areas full of history, street art, and hidden corners that many visitors walk right past without noticing. As we wander, I’ll share a bit about Valencia’s culture, daily life, and how food connects everything here — celebrations, family, weekend gatherings, and everyday moments.
We’ll visit 3–4 authentic tapas spots, each with its own style. Some are tiny and cozy, some a bit lively and buzzing with locals — but all of them are real Valencian places, not designed for tourists. At each stop, we’ll try a couple of dishes to share, so you get to taste a variety of flavors without getting too full too fast.
You can expect all this food on our gastronomic tour:
This experience is social and friendly. We’ll sit together, share plates, talk about travel, food, culture, and life here. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions — from how to order tapas, to where to find the best paella, to where locals go for sunset drinks by the beach.
Come hungry, curious, and ready to enjoy Valencia through its flavors, stories, and warm local atmosphere.
